As 2011 is quickly drawing to a close, and we’re already looking ahead to next year, we’ve now finished compiling next year’s new Farm Calendar for 2012!

Each year we pull together some of our favorite photographs from around the farm, and put together a calendar for our own use throughout the year, but also make it available through a print-on-demand publisher for anyone else that may wish to have a copy of their own.

It’s a fun way to review the highlights from the previous season, and here at least, it’s an absolute necessity for keeping us organized and on track!

Each page measures 13.5″x19″

PDA’s, computers, and smart-phones are fine, but I still prefer the conventional pencil-and-paper monthly wall calendar for keeping our upcoming schedule visible at a glance.

We’ve selected a similar layout this year to the 2011 calendar we offered last year.

This is a large-format, twelve month calendar, printed on gloss-white paper, and spiral bound above the beautifully reproduced photographs.  Each month is a full page measuring 13.5 x 19 inches tall.  We had lots of positive feedback on the multi-image format last year, so again for 2012 there are three of our favorite photographs to highlight each month.

There’s plenty of room to write important upcoming dates, and events, without our busy days becoming too crowded and illegible.  Key holidays (US) are noted throughout the year.

Each calendar page contains an assortment of 3 images, and plenty of room to write

The print-on-demand company needs approximately one week to fill orders (US domestic), and does ship internationally, but may need a little more lead time to complete international orders, so order early!  If you’d prefer the calendar be formatted with international dates of interest for where you are (Canada, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, France), contact us directly and we’ll try to make that available for you.

This year’s most noteworthy event on the farm occurred mid-summer when all sixteen of Jenny’s eggs hatched on the 4th of July, so Jenny and her young poults of course made this year’s cover (and are also featured for the month of July). A complete preview of the 2012 calendar is available below:

Our 2011 Calendar has been well used this year, and helped us keep some of our more prominent projects on track, like the retaining wall, and the greenhouse, so we’re looking forward to another well-organized year ahead. Enjoy!

Each calendar is $28 (US).
