Have a question about the farm? The goats would love to hear from you! We’re probably out in the barn tending to the herd at the moment, but if you drop us a message here, we’ll respond as soon as the goats will allow us to.

If you are enquiring about a potential kid reservation, or an animal that is available for sale, please note the animal of interest in the subject line.

We receive many requests each year to provide farm tours, or offer bee keeping, chicken raising,  goat husbandry, or seed starting classes.  For a number of reasons, including county zoning restrictions, liability, farm biosecurity, and personal time constraints, we are not able to host public events, or offer farm tours at this time. Thank you for your understanding. However, if you have a question, or comment, you can reach us by submitting this form.

Consulting

This is a busy working farm, and our days average 16-18 hours. As a result of too many not respecting the value of our time, effective January 1, 2019 a consultancy fee of $50/hr will apply for in person and phone consultations, and will be credited to the  purchase of your animal. While we are always happy to mentor our clients, our time is valuable. If you are new to goats, we are happy to share our knowledge and consult with you in regards to general care, housing, equipment, and feeding of does, bucks, or wethers, and the nominal fee will be an investment in the future health and happiness of your animals.

If purchasing a doe in milk, a one hour milking lesson at the time of pickup is included at no additional cost to ensure our clients are comfortable with milking prior to taking the doe home.

Contact Us!

Our goats are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), and the American Goat Society (AGS), and are eligible for registration with the Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association (NDGA).

We maintain a disease-negative herd, and test all members of our herd annually for CAE and CL. Fecal PCR testing for Johne’s disease is conducted through the California Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) Laboratory at UC Davis. New additions to the farm are quarantined and tested when they arrive on the farm before being introduced to the herd. Our entire herd was last tested August 2022, and has always tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johne’s disease.
