We have many species of spiders lurking on the property here.  We’re not sure exactly who was responsible for constructing these beautiful spiral orb webs, as the architects weren’t in residence when these photographs were taken, but a number of these webs were strung throughout our redwood trees near the house this week.  The early morning sunlight, coupled with a heavy mist, highlighted the webs beautifully, just in time for Halloween!  Happy Hauntings!
