3 x Reserve Junior Grand Champion, 1 x Junior Grand Champion

Cleodora was a Greek Oceanid, a daughter of Oceanus and Tethys, lover of Poseidon, and mother of Parnassus.

This heavily frosted chocolate doe, admittedly, was not my favorite of Ocean’s daughters when she was first born. More ugly duckling, than swan. She looked awkward, and leggy, as kids often do, and her body color was somewhat distracting to the eye.

However, as Dora grew, and began to fill in, it was difficult not to notice this stretchy doe with a long and lean neck, feminine face, straight legs, and when you picked her up, her skin texture felt so incredibly soft, and elastic.

Dora has the most outgoing personality of Ocean’s daughters. She’s intensely curious, and gregarious, and always happy to greet newcomers to the farm.

At her very first show, at just 13 weeks of age, Cleodora earned TWO junior reserve grand champion ribbons, and then went on to pick up a third RGCH at her very next show. Dora then went through a bit of an awkward gangly growth phase, but balanced back out as a dry yearling, just in time to earn her restricted Junior Champion leg.
