When Mojave Rose kidded in the spring of 2018, we were thrilled that she had a daughter for us to retain. As a Lotus daughter, Rosie was a farm favorite since she was born, but unfortunately doelings were scarce.
Taffy’s littermate brother was also retained to the herd, Curbstone Valley DS Pippin. He has matured into a very correct, handsome buck, whose kids thus far have been very consistent in type.
We had intended to freshen Taffy initially in the spring of 2020, but some scheduling conflicts late in the breeding season led to us holding her over. Unfortunately, later that year, the fire forced us to take an unplanned hiatus from breeding. Taffy, unfortunately, will be a first freshening four year-old in the spring of 2022, but as the only retained Mojave Rose daughter on the farm, we are eager to see her freshen nonetheless!
