Blythe was one of quints born to River of Rain in the spring of 2018, consisting of 3 does, and 2 bucks, all named for English rivers.

The three does, Blythe, Amber, and Seven, were all so very similar structurally, that we decided to watch them for a while as they grew during those first few months. By eight months of age, it was still impossible to choose one over the other. Blythe primarily stood out in regards to her personality. Any time she was out in the pasture, she would actively seek out the company of people, over her herd mates. She’s not demanding, but really enjoys being close to people, much like her dam, and we find that very endearing.

Blythe’s pedigree speaks for itself, and her dam, River of Rain, has a beautiful, and capacious mammary system.

In the spring of 2020, Blythe freshened with triplets, all of whom where simply gorgeous. Once again we’re struggling to decide with of the doelings to retain. Blythe’s udder is typical of a Roxstar udder, with tremendous rear udder height, excellent attachment throughout the rear udder udder arch, and plumb teats. Her photo above does her absolutely no justice as she has matured into a lovely first freshening doe, so this photo will be updated shortly!
