Curbstone Valley TBB Zaurak *B

When Zaurak’s dam, GCH Alethia HB When Stars Align, was first born on the farm in 2017, we knew she would prove to be a very special doe. She is a barn favorite, for so many reasons. As a two year-old first freshener she completed her permanent championship. She attained some of the highest mammary linear trait scores in the herd, with a 40 in rear udder height, and 47 in rear udder arch, along with a 36 for foreudder, and 31 for medial strength. Allie was off to a fantastic start. She has proven to be a consistent milker, and has produced some beautiful kids, including Regulus, and his sister Talitha, along with Zaurak’s siblings, Zaniah, Nashira, and Wolf 359. 

Zaurak is solid Rosasharn genetics on both sides of his pedigree, linebred on Zenith, Jupiter, and Tupelo Honey. His dam, granddam’s, and great-granddam’s  on both sides have all had excellent permanent appraisal scores, with E mammary systems. True genetic potential throughout, and hopes are high for Zaurak’s future daughters. Although we have used his brother extensively for 2024, Zaurak has had the opportunity to breed a couple of does before he moves back to the west coast. It will be interesting to compare his daughter’s with Wolfie’s this coming spring.
