Lightly linebred on Jupiter and Tupelo, this young buck is backed by some of the best show genetics on the west coast.
Our herd is primarily founded on his grand-dam, GCH Algedi Farm RB Ocean Flower, and she has aged beautifully, appraising EEEE 92 at eight years of age, and taking Best in Show at our most competitive Northern California show just two days after that appraisal. His dam, Melia, is a beautifully correct, and dairy doe.
His sire’s dam, Capella, has demonstrated how well these genetics mature and age. It was a joy to see her personally in the ring in 2019, as an 11 year-old, winning Best of Breed in Champion Challenge, in both rings, shortly before bringing her son, Skep’s sire, into our herd.
Although we haven’t used Skep much, yet, he does have a few kids on the ground, including a 2022 daughter we retained from his breeding with Bonny Dewn. This daughter, Bonnie Ann, is a beautifully long, and angular, doe.
