Curbstone Valley Langport Wren

Wren has been a striking doe since birth. Her dam, Iris, is a daughter of Lotus and Darby, and has proven herself to be a good doe, although she didn’t quite have the edge she needed to compete with her sister, Ivy, in the show ring.   However, Iris was very similar in production to Ivy in the milk room.

Iris has a strong back and rump, but we were looking to make some improvements in general appearance in shoulders, front and rear legs, so Wren’s sire, Hanukkah, was chosen for that task, as these are areas he typically improves, along with increasing width in the rear udder arch, and overall area of udder attachment in his daugthers. 

Wren will be freshened in spring of 2024.
