Curbstone Valley DS Ariel *B *S

Dave Thomas spent the night at our farm the day before we were forced to evacuate during the CZU Wildland Fire in August of 2020. He was there to pick up Ariel, and a Meme son, Luv WhatU Dew, and transport them to our dear friend Jill at Sinai Thunder Farm in Kentucky. We no idea at the time that we would be evacuating our entire herd within less than 24 hours.

Ariel was employeed at Sinai Thunder for the next two years. Meanwhile, we relocated our entire herd from California to Virginia. Jill contacted me just before the fall of 2023, knowing that my Callirhoe’s last litter had resulted in quadruplet bucks, asked if I had any interest in bringing Ariel home. I had no Callirrhoe daughters, but Jill had a couple of daughters sired by Ariel that were available. I loaded up the truck, and headed out to Kentucky to bring him home, along with Dauntless, and two of Ariel’s daughters. Sinai Thunder Cherished Love, and Sinai Thunder Over Joyed.

We are very grateful to Jill for allowing us to bring Ariel home. His dam, Callirrhoe, and her sister Calypso, have both been two of our favorite Ocean Flower daughters. While Callirrhoe did not have the best rear legs, she is a solid milk producer, with a milk test high of 5.4 lbs, and always placed toward the of her classes at show, and has a beautiful udder.

Ariel’s dam line on both sides are finished Champions in one or both registries and/or SG/Elite/Breed Leaders w LA scores 90+. We are excited to be able to bring Ariel back into our program, along with some slightly fresh genetics with Ariel’s two daughters, Cheri and Jojo.
