Curbstone Valley C Voodew

You can read all about the rash decision to breed Voodew’s dam in 2021 on her sister’s page, Dewbonnet (aka Dewdle). To say we were thrilled with two doelings from that breeding would be a serious understatement. We have retained sisters to the herd in the past, and in some cases, it is remarkable how different they can be at maturity.

As soon as Voodew and Dewdle were born, it was already apparent that while Dewdle seemed to take more after Meme in her general appearance, Voodew looked much more like her sire’s granddam, Ocean. Of course, both does are still quite young, and have a lot of maturing to do, but we are intrigued to see how they both develop over the coming months. Their pedigrees are packed with some incredible does, with consistent strength in type, and mammary systems. We anticipate that 2024 should prove to be quite exciting in the first freshener stalls!
