Alizé is a French word meaning Trade Wind, and the daughter of Hundred Year Storm, and one of our most promising up and coming junior does.

Alizé’s dam is maternal half-sister to the 2015 ADGA National Champion, GCH Castle Rock Flash Flood. Her sire, Asterion, combines some of the best udder genetics in the herd.

Her sire has a powerpacked udder pedigree.  Asterion is the son of Ocean Flower, sired by Destiny’s Starman, combining Ocean with Written N The Stars and Honeymoon Bay.

While Alizé was very similar to her dam in appearance at birth, she has more length of body, levelness in the loin, more width, and more balance in the front end, courtesy of Asterion.

Alizé’s dam has a very well attached udder, with a RUA of 40 on her last appraisal. so combining Stormy with the udder genetics of both Ocean and Destiny resulted in Alizé freshening with a lovely well attached udder, retaining that width to the arch, but with more extention of the fore, and more persistence in lactation compared with Stormy. In fact, Alizé scored 45 for foreudder extention, and produced 830 pounds of milk as a first freshener. The beginning of her second freshening, after producing quadruplets, Alizé  produced 6.5 pounds of milk on her first milk test. A very promising start to her second lactation.
