SGCH Alethia MH Dew Ya Love Me 6*M *D AR

We are honored, and so blessed, to bring SGCH Alethia MH Dew Ya Love Me, aka “Meme”, to Curbstone Valley. We know how much this doe means to our dear friends Dana, and Siena.

Meme is the daughter of Alethia’s foundation doe, SGCH/MCH Algedi Farm DJ Honey Dew 5*M EEEE 91. Meme is line bred on Honey Dew’s dam, Tupelo Honey.  Meme’s sire, Manuka Honey is a Tupelo Honey son, and Honey Dew’s maternal brother.

Meme arrived at the farm with her 2019 daughter Alethia WhatsLuvGotToDewWithIt (Maisie). Prior that season Meme had not settled in a few years, and had only produced sons. We love that Meme has now rejoined her former herdmate, GCH Alethia DJ Written N The Stars, and her guardian, Ivan, here at Curbstone Valley.

Since her arrival, we have taught Meme to love the same cookies as the rest of the does, and we continue to spoil her with some of her very favorite treats, including organic banana peels, and strawberry tops.

Meme arrived in the fall, and we wanted her to acclimate to her new herd before attempting to breed her. She did not settle on the first try, and with kidding season rapidly drawing to a close, we made one last valiant effort by exposing her to two young bucks. 

In May she produced another gorgeous daughter, and two sons, and to say we were ecstatic would be an understatement. Of course, both bucklings were born first, and there was about a 45 minute pause before her daughter arrived. The most nail biting 45 minutes of the entire season to see if she could produce another doe. 

Meme has never been on DHIR milk test, so part of the reason we were thrilled for her to freshen this spring, was to get her on test. So far, she is on track to earn her 6*M at the end of this lactation.
